Being new to town we had to check out this theater. We were able pick up pretty good seats last minute to Colin James second show. The sound , Woodgrove Centre is the largest shopping centre on Vancouver Island with over 140 stores & services including Walmart, Hudson’s Bay, Chapters and Sport Chek.
The theatre is easy to reach with parking close by. We saw Colin James and he put on a brilliant show to a packed house (800+ people).
This is a beautiful mall on the north end of Nanaimo and has a lot to offer, but visiting the Walmart was pure disappointment. The store was extremely dirty and very cluttered and seemed to be in complete disarray. Two thumbs up to the mall but two thumbs down to our shopping experience in Walmart
Visited this Mall on a very wet day — it was pouring outside, so it was a nice way to spend a couple of hours indoors. This Mall had a lot of nice stores. We had lunch there and shopped some and spent the rest of the time wandering around. Nicely laid out easy to navigate mall and clean toilets. There seems to be something for everyone. Lots of seating areas from what I recall, so I was glad to walk around without being rushed, while my husband sat and read.
